Why do we need your personal information?

The personal information you provide will be used for the purpose of assessing your application for your eligibility and suitability for the role for which you are applying.

How the law allows us to use your personal information

Our legal basis for using your personal data is contract including taking steps to enter into a contract.

Our legal basis for using your sensitive personal data is under employment law, substantial public interest and explicit consent.

Who do we share your information with?

We will share some of the information you provide to the Recruiting Officer and, if successfully short listed, with our internal assessors.

How long do we keep your personal information?

If you are successful in our recruitment process and offered a role at SSDC we will retain the data provided until you cease employment.

If you are unsuccessful in our recruitment process we will retain the data provided for 6 month so that we can assess your suitability for any roles which become available within those six months. If you do not wish for us to retain your information for this purpose then you have the right to ask for this information to be deleted.
