Specialist – Performance
Are you a change agent, wanting to shape your own role and inspire great performance? Join our Strategy and Commissioning team, helping South Somerset to be a place where businesses flourish, communities are safe, vibrant and healthy and residents enjoy good housing and cultural, leisure and sporting activities.
Salary: £29,909 – £38,052
Join us and change the way we work at South Somerset District Council. Our ambition is to create an evidence driven, continuously improving and agile organisation and we need an innovative and inspiring team player to help us fulfil our ambitions and goals. You will shape and influence the way we approach performance at this council, following our Transformation programme.
You will guide and inspire our future performance monitoring, data management and business process improvement, working closely with teams across the council, helping people to adopt and embed our performance management framework. You will be encouraging a greater use of data to inform decision making and promoting learning and reflective practice. You will be great at building relationships and communicating complex information clearly to a variety of audiences.
Working as part of a cross-functional, busy team you will have a strong background in data analysis, ideally with an understanding of business process reengineering and be ready for your next creative challenge. You will need to deliver tangible results, working effectively under pressure, helping the One Team at SSDC to achieve its ambitions for the communities of South Somerset.
We are striving to be great to work for, excellent to work with, leading the way and delivering for our communities. If you want to work in an inspiring environment and shape our future ways of working, then we want to hear from you.
We are a flexible employer with an office base in Yeovil where you will able to work in an agile way.
