South Somerset District Council is offering a fantastic opportunity to join the Strategy & Commissioning team where you’ll have an important part to play in shaping the future direction of the Council and communicating the policies which improve the quality of life for resident and help businesses to thrive.
Case Officers within the Strategy & Commissioning function will provide coordination support and aid the delivery of work that is needed across three core areas – Strategic Planning; Communications, Marketing & Media; and People, Performance & Change. This will allow Case Officers to build a wide and diverse amount of experience responding to the needs of the organisation.
Case Officers in Strategy & Commissioning carry out a wide variety of tasks including data collection, analysis and presentation, supporting the preparation of our major plans and strategies; media and communications; performance monitoring; co-ordination of training and learning, compiling customer intelligence, and the supporting the council’s risk and contracts management.
